  • 1 piece Medium-sized Tomato deseeded & finely chopped
  • 4-6 leaves Romaine Lettuce
  • 4-6 leaves Basil Leaves finely chopped
  • Sliced Black Olives for garnishing - optional
  • 4-5 slices French Loaf Bread
  • Olive Oil to toast the bread
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp Crushed Black Pepper
  • Salt to taste

  • Heat a flat non-stick pan up.
  • Place the slices of bread over the pan once it is hot.
  • Drizzle the olive oil lightly on each side of the bread and turn over until both sides turn golden-brown.
  • Place the toasted bread on a grill or tissue to keep it from becoming moist.

  • Take all the chopped vegetables in a large bowl. Add the mayonnaise, chopped basil leaves, a drizzle of olive oil, and crumbled Classic Toscano.
  • Season the mix with salt and pepper and mix well till you get a thick consistency.
  • Place the lettuce leaves on the freshly toasted bread slices. Spread about a tablespoon of the mix on top of the lettuce leaf. You can add a couple of black olive slices on top of each toast if you like.
