Tossed Toscano Bruschetta
Bruschetta is a classic Italian appetizer or side dish. Typically made with a tangy tomato-based mix placed atop toasted slices of loaf bread, it's a widely loved dish in India as well. This recipe adds a deliciously creamy, olive-riddled twist to the traditional bruschetta. This is a scrumptious, quick, and easy bruschetta recipe with a mix made of Quilla Classic Toscano!

Materials
- 150 gms Quilla Classic Toscano crumbled
- 1 piece Medium-sized Onion finely chopped
- 1 piece Red Bell Pepper finely chopped
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper finely chopped
- 1 piece Medium-sized Tomato deseeded & finely chopped
- 4-6 leaves Romaine Lettuce
- 4-6 leaves Basil Leaves finely chopped
- Sliced Black Olives for garnishing - optional
- 4-5 slices French Loaf Bread
- Olive Oil to toast the bread
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- ½ tsp Crushed Black Pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Toasting
- Heat a flat non-stick pan up.
- Place the slices of bread over the pan once it is hot.
- Drizzle the olive oil lightly on each side of the bread and turn over until both sides turn golden-brown.
- Place the toasted bread on a grill or tissue to keep it from becoming moist.
Topping
- Take all the chopped vegetables in a large bowl. Add the mayonnaise, chopped basil leaves, a drizzle of olive oil, and crumbled Classic Toscano.
- Season the mix with salt and pepper and mix well till you get a thick consistency.
- Place the lettuce leaves on the freshly toasted bread slices. Spread about a tablespoon of the mix on top of the lettuce leaf. You can add a couple of black olive slices on top of each toast if you like.
- Put your slices on a serving tray. Your Tossed Toscano Bruschetta is ready to serve!
