Equipment
- 3 Wooden Skewers Should be thin. Replace with thin metal skewers if you plan to grill over an open coal flame.
Materials
- 150 gms Quilla Fiery North cubed
- 2 pieces Medium-sized Onions cubed
- 1 piece Red Bell Pepper cubed
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper cubed
- 1 piece Green Bell Pepper cubed
- 10 ml Mustard Oil
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp Black Pepper crushed
- ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp Chaat Masala Powder
Instructions
Seasoning
- In a large mixing bowl, add about 5ml mustard oil, salt, black pepper, and red chilli powder. Whisk lightly until the blend is uniform.
- Add the cubed vegetables and Quilla Fiery North to the bowl and toss thoroughly.
- Thread the skewers with one cube each of the vegetables followed by a cube of Fiery North.
Grilling
- Heat a non-stick grill pan and drizzle a bit of mustard oil on it.
- Place the skewers onto the pan and turn every few minutes to get it nice and golden all over.
- Take the skewers off the heat and sprinkle chaat masala all over.
- You can serve your Spicy Skewered Quilla Tikka with or without the wooden skewers still in. Your Spicy Skewered Quilla Tikka is ready to serve!
Notes
You can grill the skewers over a barbeque set instead if you prefer that. Grilling over a coal flame adds a smoky smell to the dish.
